The Craigdarroch Castle Historical Museum Society is a charitable organization, whose mission is to preserve Craigdarroch Castle and bring its stories to life. Craigdarroch Castle is a designated National Historic Site with annual visitation of 150,000 and is open year round providing a wide range of visitor services to an international clientele.
Historic House Museum Worker
The castle is looking for its final 5 summer workers to join our team!
We operate 7 days a week and shifts vary from days to evenings to accommodate high season and evening group tours.
Reporting to the Manager of Operations and Development, the Museum Worker assists in various areas of the museum as a docent and also primarily working as admission cashier, giftshop cashier and tea house operation.
The successful candidate will have experience working with the public as well as cash/POS handling. An even temperament, high energy and proven customer service skills are required. Food and beverage service an asset.
Availability for daytime, evening and weekend shifts is required.
